Returns and Exchanges

At Thai Café @ Home we pride ourselves in offering top notch customer service.  If you weren’t happy with the product you purchased, we’ll do our best to make the return process as easy as possible.  There are a few guidelines to our policy. Please read through them as it will make it easier to serve you, our goal is to make shopping on line very easy, safe and efficient!

  1. Returns and exchanges must be made within 15 days from date of delivery.  The customer is responsible for return shipping charges to Thai Café @ Home. This time frame is due to the sales of perishable items.
  2. Once an order has been shipped it cannot be cancelled and will have to be handled through our return policy.
  3. Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival, and keep all of the packaging materials that you receive with your products until you are sure that the item(s) is satisfactory to you.
  4. If the product is an item that has been worn, used or eaten, we cannot issue a refund or an exchange. We must maintain strict hygienic standards for the benefit of all of our customers.  The original packaging must be completely in tact in order to process a return.
  5. Make sure you double check the shipping method picked. If the basket is refused due to receiver no longer being at destination location, there will be a $10 fee to redirect the gift basket. When returning items, please make sure to include the following information:
  • Your Name
  • Your Order Number
  • Reason for return
  • When returning items please make sure to include: all parts, all paperwork and packaging.

6. If it seems the item was damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately so we can place a claim with our shipping provider or the manufacturer. ****If the damage was due to heat or cold during shipping there will be no returns or exchanges. Customers will be responsible for picking the right shipping method for the items they ship. Please be aware that weather can effect food items in the shipping process.****  All items that are damaged or defective will be replaced by Thai Café @ Home.  In some cases there may only be a need for replacement parts to be shipped. 

Please notify Thai Café @ Home within 48 hours of receiving a damaged item.  Write “package damaged” when you sign for delivery if possible, and delivery may be refused.

7. Products that have already been assembled may not be   returned.

8. If Thai Café @ Home sent you the wrong item, we will pay for return shipping. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges including the original outbound delivery to your home.

9. If you are returning a product that was given to you as a gift an in store credit will be issued.

10. If an item was sent in error, Thai Café @ Home will cover the return freight, and replace the product immediately.

Shipping Policy

All orders placed Monday - Friday are processed as quickly as possible usually within 24 hours to 72 hours after receipt of the order. Orders are sent via UPS Ground shipping and usually take 5-7 business days.

We may need some additional time to process orders due to high volume or temporarily out of stock items. You will be notified via email if an item is no longer available. We ship Monday thru Saturday, excluding Sunday and Holidays.

Shipping charges are inclusive of processing, handling and shipping cost.

The time of day your order is placed, the method of delivery which you choose, location of the recipient, holidays, occasional delays by carriers, weather conditions, and other factors, such as providing and incorrect addressees can all impact the arrival and delivery a date of your gift.

We will always do everything possible to expedite the delivery your gift, however we are unable to guarantee specific times or date of arrival

Where Do We Ship:
United States to 48 States, We do not deliver to PO Boxes. Orders are sent via UPS Ground shipping and usually take 5-7 business days.

Alaska & Hawaii :
Additional shipping applies. We will provide shipping charge upon request before placing order. If order has been placed we will provide shipping charge and will send request of payment via Papal for the additional charge due. The order may not be shipped until payment is received in full. 

Estimated Time in Transit :
UPS Ground Shipping - 5-10 business days or less
2 Business Day - 2 full business days
3 Business Day - 3 full business day

Holiday Shipping Policy :
We recommend orders are placed early so that your gift arrives in time. Delays in delivery may occur during the Holidays. Quantities on some items may be limited during the busy holiday season. We suggest placing your orders as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO THESE DELIVERY TIMES DURING HOLIDAY. WE OFFER OVERNIGHT SERVICE FOR EXPEDITED DELIVERY.

We will process orders in the shipping option indicated on order records. We regret there will be no refund for late deliveries not ordered with the correct shipping method. Shipping is not refundable.

IF YOU ARE PLACING ORDERS GOING TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES YOU WILL NEED TO ENTER EACH ORDER INDIVIDUALLY.

ORDER CANCELLATION: 
We require that any order cancellation be made within 12 hours of order confirmation.

Any orders not canceled within 12 hours will be subject to a nonrefundable handling fee and service charge equal to 15% of the total order.

CHANGES IN SHIPPING INFORMATION:
If an error is made in the shipping address after the order has been placed. Or shipping address needs to be changed.

Please notify us immediately. If the order has not been shipped, we will gladly make the necessary changes.
If the gift has already been picked up by the Parcel Delivery Company. We will need to contact them to reroute the package to the correct address. A rerouting fee of $25.00 will be charged to your credit card for this error.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping address, including: Recipient Name (s), Company Name (If applicable), street number and street name, floor, suite, or apartment number (if applicable) and zip code.

If you are unsure of the delivery address, we encourage you to contact the recipient before the placing of your order.

If UPS request a corrected or more complete address after we ship your order. There will be a $25.00 fee per order for incorrect address. Please avoid this fee by providing an accurate and complete address when you place your order.

IF UPS return your order to us as undeliverable, you have the option of reshipping the same order to a new address and paying a new shipping charge, or receiving a credit for 50% of the total amount of your order. (We have a 50% restocking fee.) Shipping charge is nonrefundable. 

SUBSTITUTIONS
At times we may need to substitute items, as we make changes to our inventory based upon discovery on new and unique items, product availability and seasonal difference. Therefore, Substitution may be made, but quality will never be compromised.

Thai Café @Home gladly accepts Visa, MasterCard, Papal, Money order, Cashier's check.
